                                          Winter into Spring 2018 Update:

The INTERACT Club at Federal Way High School wants to know what your passion is to serve.  Interact chooses to be - "Productive and Fun".  A Better Community, a Better World.

INTERACT meets on Thursdays after School from 2:05 until 2:45pm!  For those atheletes, a check in with text or stopping by is great.  The meeting room is 2624!  See you there.

                                                               What is INTERACT?

INTERACT is a club for youth ages 14-18 who want to connect with others in their community or school. INTERACT club members have fun while carrying out service projects and learning about their community and the world. INTERACT clubs organize at least two service projects a year: one that benefits their community and one that encourages international understanding. While INTERACT clubs receive guidance from individual Rotary clubs, they govern and support themselves and are included in Rotary’s “Youth Services” Avenue of Service.

INTERACT has more than 250,000 youth worldwide in more than 11,000 clubs in 120 Countries.  The first INTERACT Club was in Melbourne High School, in Australia in 1962.

Service -- Living by the motto “Service Above Self”, Interactors embrace service and welcome it into their everyday lives.  Through acts of service, INTERACT empowers change and inspires those who don’t already have the love for service.

Friendship --  INTERACT goes beyond the boundaries that define a club—it is a support system and source of inspiration for a diverse group of people from across the Federal Way and the world.  It serves as a spark, igniting the passion for service amongst teenagers, and as they serve together they grow into friends.

Legacy -- “If I have seen further than others, it is by standing upon the shoulders of giants.” – Isaac Newton.  Interactors within any Rotary District grow and learn from the past so that they and associated Rotarians can create a better future.
